Baby girl crawled into my bed this morning and said, “mommy, let’s move”. I of course asked why and she said, “because I want a new bed”. So yes, she has moved into so many furnished units she thinks that everytime she moves she will get new furniture!
I’ve mentioned Ella is taking swim lessons. She loves the water and she loves her swim instructor, Miss Kate. Every body of water in New Zealand was a swimming pool. Here are pics and a video of Ella “swimming”. She swims again tomorrow and I plan to get more video.

I have just now uploaded the pics from Ella’s birthday at Anne’s house. The weather was cool, we couldn’t go to the pool, so Anna invited us over to celebrate. She set out snacks for the kids, they played and Ella was given a really nice shape puzzle and a threading set. The toys were a hit as the kids are still dragging them out.

Ella and Jack’s friends at preschool helped Ella celebrate her birthday! Jack and Ella helped me take chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing to school for morning tea. All of the kids were excited to get to have a cupcake. They gathered around Ella and sang Happy Birthday to her. She was quite taken with it as she doesn’t 100% understand the meaning of a birthday. Miss Jo helped Ella blow out the candle and then they all had a cupcake. The kids will take home a lollie (candy) bag when they leave school.
